Interesting texture. It was like it was run through a tenderizer before it was sliced and packaged. As a distiller, I could taste the still itself. Nice whiskey notes that usually disappear in jerky. I knew it'd be smokey and sweet, but I did not expect how much heat was there. A bonus for me but a surprise for my wife. A little light at only 2.0 oz. Good stuff.
