Love this place this business organization and everything they do and have to offer I love getting my jerky every single month with amazing flavors across the US
Ordered the big slab and wasn’t even able to eat it. Right out of the package it was hard as a rock. After gnawing on it for 5 minutes, the inside on the thicker end was undercooked in the middle. It actually made me gag. I have a whole video of me eating it on me IG @eatsteakchips
Thanks for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience with the biltong slab. We completely understand your concern—it’s definitely not intended to be eaten straight out of the bag like traditional jerky.
Biltong slabs are designed to be sliced thin before eating. Once sliced, the texture becomes incredibly tender and the flavor really shines. It’s a traditional South African method of enjoying beef, and slicing it fresh helps preserve the quality and bold flavor.
Thanks for giving it a try!
I wasn't sure what to expect but the Maple and Brown Sugar Beef jerky was fantastic. It was softer than I expected and tasted great!
I love jerky, but with false teeth, "regular jerky" is impossible. Jerky Gent is a dream come true. Perfectly cut, soft bite sized pieces, and the taste is beyond compare! Prices on Amazon are twice what you charge. Customer for life!!!
It is very difficult to find low sodium and low/no sugar jerky that you WANT to eat. Not only is the inventory searchable by these categories, but the selection is delicious.
I have only got the o e box so far. But I love being able to try different kinds of jerky
This is not a soft jerky; it's tough. You need to chew small pieces slowly. I like it; it forces me to eat it a lot slower and savor it more. The flavor is good. The sodium is extremely low. I tried the mild and hot flavors; both were great.
This is my husband’s favorite so far! Have ordered more for him - wish it came in a bigger package.
Open Road Jerky does it again! Everything from this brand seems to be absolutely top notch, and this flavor is no exception. I tried some of the Sweet and Spicy jerky at Ambler Cars and Coffee, and was pleasantly surprised with how soft and tender it was. It wasn't too spicy either, just a subtle kick with hints of honey! You definitely are going to want this flavor in your jerky rotation!
As a jerky fan that has tried a few jerky subscriptions and make jerky, JerkyGent focused more on the wet variety than dry, in my first box. Jerky is good in a types, but provide a verity of all 51 states is what would be nice. Be different, provide a variety. Maybe I am judging too quickly, can’t wait for my second box.
