Wafer thin wide sheets of jerky. Quite dry. Layers of heat and black pepper. Very Texas. It's drier than I like but it falls apart once you start to chew it. Overall, it's on the thin and dry side but it has nice heat thats not overwhelming.
Thickly sliced. Good chew factor. Solid smoke. Softly sweet, not over powering. Nice black pepper like finish. This was a good purchase.

I loved this beef jerky and couldn't believe it was low sodium. I started buying in bulk. I sent one off to lab to measure just to be sure. Sodium was 10 times higher than what is listed on the package. 65 mg/28g*1000 g/kg should be 2321 mg/kg. Instead the lab measured 24400 mg/kg.

All the jerky quality was amazing. My favorite was the cherry chipotle. Second favorite was the vanilla bourbon. Least favorite were the sesame flavors, all of them, realizing I am not a fan of those. On my next box I think I would like to switch to all spicy flavors. Thank you for your time and expertise. Please let me know how to switch my flavor profile to spicy.
