Rogue Jerky Co. Signature Hickory Beef Jerky, 2.0-oz

I bought twelve packs of Jerky.
10 were great and 2 were so so.
I'll will be reordering some of the great ones.

I love the original hickory Rouge Jerky. Flavor is great. Just wish there was an option to purchase a package larger than 2 oz.

We tried the Signature Hickory beef jerky.
After one bite, and then a couple other pieces to be sure of what we experienced, we trashed the rest.

The pieces were very tough and dry (and very expensive from where we purchased it).

But, the reason we trashed the rest was neither of us could handle the flavor.

We wish the company well, but this flavor is something we will flee from.

The first jerky that presented a flavor-forward smokiness. NOT kissing-an-ashtray Laphroag-scotch smoky, just a pleasant whiff of hickory in every bite. Unique amongst its peers, worth a try.
