This beef jerky subscription has become the highlight of my mailbox. Every month feels like Christmas for carnivores. The jerky is fresh, flavorful, and disappears faster than my willpower during a late-night snack attack. My only complaint? I never ordered enough. Highly recommend to anyone who takes their beef seriously and their snacking irresponsibly.
I loved the crunch of the jerky but disliked the flavors. The only one I liked was the extra thin and crispy mild spicy.
Really nice thick chunks of beef. Supple, not dry but not the moist stuff I usually go for. Teriyaki without being overly salty. Heat that builds nicely without being too hot. Good solid smoke. Makes me want to explore the rest of the Long Beach product line.
Didn't necessarily love it the first few bites but the more I ate the more I liked it. Good chew and flavor.
Had a sweeter, I would say somewhat bourbon taste to it. It was pretty soft to chew which I prefer.
Good taste. I prefer jerky that is a little easier to chew than this was.
Soft and tender for sure. The pineapple marinade gives it a sweet balance to the teriyaki savory notes. Small pieces, no large slabs (i coulda used some larger pieces myself). Overall, a good purchase.
The peach isn’t good I was really hoping it was good but nope wish I could get my money back or at least a different favor of my choice
This jerky is literally perfect from start to finish. It comes in flat slates and is super thin and smells good. It's a perfect jerky chew. Just the right consistency. And it tastes incredible. So yummy. Def buying more of this.
Mild teriyaki flavor. Lots of soy so it's a bit salty. Semi thick slabs. Chewy. Not soft and not hard and dry - in between. I grew up in Roseburg, Oregon where this jerky was first created. Very disappointed to see that it is now produced and packaged by a smokehouse in Turtle River, Minnesota -that's a LONG ways away from Oregon. Handcrafted in Oregon for 20 years, but no longer. Three stars. It's okay. Created in Oregon on the package is ancient history I guess.
I’m currently subscribed to the Jerky Club and wanted to provide some feedback regarding my most recent box.
Prior to receiving my first shipment, I completed the flavor/profile questionnaire and specifically indicated that I prefer dry-style jerky. In my latest package, I received jerky from RIPPED, and unfortunately it was the complete opposite of what I had selected — very soft and almost raw in texture. It really was not my style whatsoever.
What made it more disappointing was that not only did I receive a jerky that was far outside of my stated preferences, but I received two bags from the same brand with that same texture profile.
For the price point of the subscription, I was hoping the selections would align more closely with the preferences provided in my profile. I completely understand wanting to showcase different brands and styles, but receiving multiple bags that strongly conflict with my stated preferences was frustrating.
Please let me know that this can be corrected prior to my next shipment going out. Otherwise, I may need to reconsider and potentially cancel my membership.
